Hiya Readers!
I hope that I don’t turn
this blog into another all about breedable blog but breedables are just so much
fun! The last two blog
sessions I’ve drooled, ooh’ed and aw’ed over the KittyCatS breedables. They are awesome and I love my
KittyCatS (KC) but I also have other breedables so I want to make sure I
mention some of the others I enjoy along with my beloved KittyCatS! Just a
bit more praise for the KittyCatS Addicts group and I’ll shut up for now about
KittyCatS! This group is a
great support group and I’m listening! Recently, some discussion was going on
about traits. KittyCatS
Owners and Support Team have been emphatic that all KC kitties are unique and
special no matter what traits they have! Of course the market speaks a
different tune but here’s the scoop about KittyCatS sizes. There are three size KittyCatS:
normal, toy, and teacup. The
size is considered to be a countable trait; HOWEVER, size is a trait that falls
from the goodwill of the stork, aka the KC server. The breeder has no control over this
trait. He/she can breed
till they are blue as a Russian blue and won’t be able to predict which parent
will produce a teacup or a toy. I
hope this helps answer some question marks in breeders’ minds.
Don’t forget to grab your Collabor88 collectible
kitty in honor of Collabor’s birthday!
The Baroque kitties are random for gender. The girl is white and the boy
is black! They are lovely in their
bright colored vest and promise to hold a couple fun surprises when bred! Price
is very reasonable at $188 lindens for each cat! Don’t miss out this special kitty is only
available till September 7, 2012!!! One
last note about KittyCatS this time… be sure to register and create your
account on KittyCatS’ website (http://kittycats.biz) to
open all customer support, your cats registry and pedigrees, the forum which
includes a place to advertise your cats or wanted cats! Register at the mainshop on the web
terminal to the right as you go through the front door. It has a pawprint on it! Click it and the registration page will open
in your internet browser!
Go Green and organic with
PlantPets and Papillon
Flutters. These two
breedables coexist in a garden just beautifully. Butterfly BellFlower has
created an entire ecosystem for the flutters, which include butterflies, wisps,
fireflies and dragonflies. The
plants are designed to grow in a garden and produce food for the flutters to
eat, which means once you establish your garden, there is no food bill! The flutters breed readily and easily
with so many mutations and colors, there is a flutter for everyone to love and
enjoy! The accessories are
to encourage growth of your food sources and include things like a rain cloud,
gardening hoe, birds, water sprayer and garden scissors!
The PlantPets come
in a seed that is to be planted and watered before it will produce a baby plant
for you. These babies
arrive to healthy plants every 52 days as long as you don’t forget to water and
let them “die”. When they
die, they send you a nasty gram and you get to reset them so you don’t really
lose your plant but you lose time before you have a new baby plant! These PlantPets beautify my skybox so
much! I love watching them
grow and moving them around in my garden, just like in RL! I get all the pleasure of playing in
the dirt but I don’t get dirty! Cool,
huh?
Meeroos are a relatively
new breedable for me. They
have been around for about a year (correct me if this is incorrect, Meeroo
veterans!) They are
mystical creatures that look and move like a bunny and cat got together and
produced a baby. I’m
finding they have tons of personality and even ask to be picked up and cuddled
at times. They live in
their own little homes in the garden. Their
homes come in a variety of styles so you can adapt the homes to the décor of
your own garden. Their
colors and traits are too numerous to list now but I promise I’ll get to them
in detail soon! It seems they are all napping today!
I started breeding Amaretto
Horses a couple years ago then took an extended vacation but they got into
my blood. I wanted to get a
pair of White Walkers to just ride around the farm; however, one bundle
produces the excitement of the next bundle. THEN I discovered all the new traits
and colors that have come out since I had horses before. Goodness… breedables are so addictive!
Amaretto
Barnyard Birds (Chickens at the moment) are the newest breedable offered by
Amaretto. They are
surprisingly realistic in their sounds and look; I really do love them almost
as much as I love my RL silkie chicken. I
keep one rooster and three hens together and just love seeing them strut around
their pen. Be sure to watch for the various Amaretto classes and seminars
offered for free!!!
I have just begun keeping Odyssey Seahorses! I’ve been an aquarium lover in real life for
many years and seahorses just amaze me when I visit aquariums. These seahorses eat from Crystal Shards that
emiet bubbles that add to the aquarium environment beautifully! The seahorses come in lots of beautiful
colors and best of all –they are asexual!
You only need one to breed! They
start to gain Desire at 5days old. and will Rezz either a Magical Orb or a
Treasure Chest. These little guys are
very new to me so I’ll be reporting more on them as I learn more about
them! So far, my seahorses have given
birth once for me and it was so exciting getting those orbs! I can hardly wait for the next round!
There are some awesome
events in SL coming up along with various classes and seminars you just don’t
want to miss! Check out the
SL calendar of events to make your SL experience more exciting and fun!
Whew, I didn’t mean to go on
and on and on, but I get so excited about my breedables and love talking about
all my pixel pets! Have a
great week!
Hugs & Smiles,
